Chalk: Transforming school decisions from the ground up

Project by
Sarah Chou, Qian Wang
Project Year
2012
Schools have deep pockets of knowledge but few channels for innovation. Outdated social structures lead to decisions based on those who speak loudest, not those with the best ideas. By crowdsourcing questions and ideas across all school staff, Chalk opens new channels for communication and innovation by making knowledge visible and actionable. By creating a critical feedback loop between school staff and administrators, Chalk provides instructional leaders with dynamic new streams of data and ultimately builds customized repositories of knowledge that will change school decision making and help scale school success.
